Business owners realized internet marketing is the place to be, however, this can be a saturated place with lots of money being thrown at walls to see what sticks. PPC Ad costs have risen significantly, SEO has to be done right the first time, and is a specialist job not DIY. Inbound or human-to-human marketing seems to work better than cold calling and pushing yourself on people who don’t have a need for you.

Basically how to be found by your target audience, organically (free) traffic. Inbound is marketing human-to-human and this methodology soon absorbed Sales, PR, Brand, and finally the whole organization. Becoming Consumer-centric from the CEO to the janitor, the inbound message becomes the mission, vision voice, and tone for internet marketing.
SEO is a vital component for the success of inbound marketing and without it your inbound will not succeed.
What is SEO
Search engine optimization is the process of improving the quality and quantity of website traffic to a website or a web page from search engines. SEO targets unpaid traffic rather than direct traffic or paid traffic. Wikipedia
Basically how to be found by your target audience, organically (free) traffic. There are currently three main components of SEO which now branch out into many facets and evolving into one main SEO point. Technical SEO is foundational and nothing you do online will index well with google or index at all if done wrong. On-page SEO is evolving from keywords/ content to topics with intent (which better meets the query’s needs). The third is Off-page SEO which used to be backlinks. This system had been abused by so many and is Google’s main trust point.
